Are the D-rings metal?
Yes! Our harness is made out of a soft stretch poly base, nylon webbing straps, and coated carbon steel D-rings.
Which leash attachment should I use?
The front clip helps reduce pulling by guiding your pup from the chest—great for strong pullers. The back clip offers more freedom and works best for dogs who walk calmly beside you.
Does the Harness work good with puppies?
The Doxie Harness is perfect for puppies—comfy enough for playtime & naptime alike.
What if my pup is between sizes?
In this case we would recommend sizing up.

I have tried other brands of harnesses for my mini dachshund and I could notice that he wasn’t completely comfortable in them…until I found this one! He’s almost 7months & maybe 8 pounds and I ordered an XS and there’s still plenty of room for him to grow! Can’t recommend enough! So glad I chose this harness & leash for my little guy ♥️
After trying about a half a dozen different harnesses for my miniature dachshund, I finally found one that fits! This harness is absolutely amazing. The quality is top-notch and the fit is absolutely perfect. If you are thinking about getting one of these harnesses, just go ahead and do it! You won’t regret it!
I have tried many harnesses for my dachshunds, and this one is by far the best fit yet. Not only does if fit their deep chest, it doesn't cross too close to the area behind their front legs, so they have great freedom of movement when walking. Also, I appreciate the thick cushioning for their comfort.
I did not know harnesses fit different for Doxies! So of course when we got our lil doxie girl we got just a regular harness for her to get use to, well of course it did not fit her right but it got the job done.. This site kept popping up on my facebook so i decided to give it a look, then i decided it was time to try a real harness that was made for Doxies. As soon as i received it i put it on my doxie girl. She was SOOO excited, making it hard to get it on her lol This harness fit her PERFECTLY!! We absolutely LOVE it, the color of it looks super cute on her and she loves it too!
I’ve had doxies for years, and well aware how difficult they are to fit with harnesses: between their long muscular necks, broad chests, and short legs. Our newest little one has been the most difficult yet- with the shortest legs of all! He is so tiny I was worried the harness would not only work but be too heavy for his back. Reached out to doxiewarehouse who responded immediately! They offered to have me return / but also sent pictures to help me with adjusting it correctly. Not only amazing customer service- but they know their products! What a giant difference- just the minor adjustments suggested and it was perfect. The harness no longer felt heavy but evenly padded and distributed, fit over his head easily, and best of all he couldn’t get out his little legs! Will definitely be buying from them- well worth the price.
